r. is for roasted brussels sprouts...

Only the finest of palette's know the beauty that is brussels sprouts. These little "heads of lettuce" have a been fooling us for years. It is rare that you hear someone under the age of 60 speak highly of brussels sprouts, but we can assure you, after trying this {easiest recipe ever} you will have a whole new prospective on this mysterious little green vegetable. It is important when preparing this recipe, since there are only four ingredients, that you use the freshest and very best of what is available.

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs fresh brussels sprouts
3-4 tbsp good olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt
3/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

|1.| Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
|2.| Cut of brown ends and remove any yellow outer leaves. Slice brussels sprouts in halves.
|3.| Mix olive oil, brussels sprouts, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
|4|. Spread brussels sprouts onto a baking sheet.
|5.| Roast for 20-25 minutes, until edges brown and insides are tender.
|6.| Remove from oven and sprinkle with a little extra kosher salt and serve!
